The list owner manual doesn't say much about exits because the list
owner can't simply make an exit and use it.  The LISTSERV maintainer
must install all exits and test them <carefully> before letting list
owners use them.  See the release notes for version 1.8a for more
information on list exits.  We will cover this in the Site Manager's
Manual.
