Very close :-) It would actually be:

OWNER-LSTOWN-L*Pete*2DWeiss**PSU*[log in to unmask]

Since asterisks are not valid in a list name (but ARE valid in email
addresses), LISTSERV knows that the list name is LSTOWN-L and the
rest is the probe code.

Note that sendmail can't handle probe addresses out the box (you have
to patch it), and so probes are turned off by default on Unix
versions of LISTSERV.
