Two of the messages would need to be analyzed, header-for-header e.g.,
RECEIVED:, from the "bottom-up" looking for the first point of divergence
such as embedded timestamps or process IDs.
One would also need to determine if this was an on-purpose mailbomb,
sysadmin neglect, or some broken process.
The subscribership of SPAM-L (of which you must be subscribed) with a
SUBJECT: HELP: mailbomb?
might be a better place to ask.
