Gee, one of the beauties of the Revised Listserv is that running a list
*doesn't* take much time and effort unless you make it so!  I'm not saying
this kid is lieing; maybe it's a moderated list that's very active?  But,
done well, with a cooperative audience (the kind more likely to send money,
anyway), list ownership isn't supposed to be a big deal.
 
(I say this, of course, as someone who *jokingly* asks people who
want certain things to bribe me with brownies. :-) )
