Shrinking my 80,000 line SIGNUP2 FILE

I've asked this before.  We have an 80,000 line SIGNUP2 FILE but on all
lists combined there are only 50,000 userids.  Probably some of these are
duplicates.  So it seems that SIGNUP2 must have tons of garbage in it.
Anyone written an exec to clean it up?  From time to time we crash running
out of storage when working with this file.
