I think we're confused.  SJU has had a working copy of DVHUTL all along,
the complaint is that after you enter the _masked_ password lsvput echos
the generated put command line including password to the screen:
 
    lsvput sju-x
    Enter your password for list SJU-X at SJUVM, or a null line to exit:
    PUT SJU-X LIST PW= W.MARTIN
    File "SJU-X LIST A1" has been sent to LISTSERV at SJUVM.
