Yes, though it's a feature.  That line, once the "Subject: " is added is
76 characters.  LISTSERV tends to wrap things at a comma.  I don't know
the algorithm used, but I see frequently.

No, LISTSERV does it.  I access e-mail with a plain-text client.  It's
not a client thing, at least in some cases.
