For a bit of deja vu ...
You may recall that earlier this month I posted an inquiry to
LstOwn-L regarding the GET/GIVE limit (either in number of files
or in amount of data, or both) used at various sites. Three kind
maintainers replied as follows:
o ListServ@CUNYVM
CUNYVM.CUNY.Edu
Bill Gruber (userid BigCU) reports CUNYVM's limit is presently
25 files or 512Kb.
o ListServ@RiceVM1
RiceVM1.Rice.Edu
Mark R Williamson (userid Mark) reports RiceVM1's limit for
off-campus users is the software default of 20 files or 256Kb.
On-campus users, however, can retrieve 40 files or 1024Kb.
o ListServ@SJUVM
SJUVM.StJohns.Edu
Paul M Karagiannis (userid KaryPM) reports SJUVM's limit is
presently 720Kb, a figure determined by the station tuned in
on their radio when they were deciding :-)
My thanks to Bill, Mark and Paul for responding and allowing me
to post their info. (I hope I didn't garble any of it, but if I did,
please correct me!)
