PSUVM is a major bitnet and LISTSERV re-distribution point.  Many of
our bitnet links are in reality handled by VMNET sw, which is Bitnet
tunneled thru IP.  Our Internet service provider, PREPnet, has had
major service disruptions in the last 24 hr (storm related and/or
routing).
 
Consequently, e-mail (or news) delivery thru PSUVM (and this includes
mail neither generated to nor from psuvm (or psuvm.psu.edu) users
had/has been been delayed.
 
BTW, our fastest link out of PSUVM to PREPnet is T-1.
