From the manual, under mailtpl (section, 9.4.2):
- POSTACK1 (optional): when present, this message is sent in reply to any
message posted to the list. This is very useful for creating "infobots",
or just for returning a standard acknowledgement to contributors. The
&SUBJECT variable contains the subject of the original message, and
naturally the usual substitutions (&LISTNAME, &DATE, &TIME) are
available.
Can the POSTACK1 message be turned off for selective IDs, through the
use of set listname NOACK?
