1. It appears that the Quiet: flag on Owner= applies to all subsequent
   owners--correct?  E.g., in
     Owner= owner1@fqdn
     Owner= Quiet:
     Owner= owner2@fqdn
     Owner= owner3@fqdn
   owner2 and owner3 are both quiet, right?
   Assuming that is correct, I need a way to make the FIRST-LISTED owner,
   (and some of the subsequent ones) quiet--is there an "Unquiet" or some
   other way to do this? The reason is that the sponsoring institution
   requires that the first-listed owner be a member of the institution
   but the day-to-day operation is performed by another owner (who is not
   a member of the institution). The first-listed owner would rather not
   receive all the subscribe and unsubscribe confirmation messages.
   I already set Errors-To= to exclude the first-listed owners, but this
   doesn't take care of the numerous subscribe and unsubscribe messages.

2. On self-moderation (only members of the list being able to post),
   the recommended approach seems to be:
     Send= Editor
     Editor= user@fqdn,(LISTNAME)
   However, from the manual, it appears that Send= can be any legitimate
   access level, which includes (LISTNAME) too. So why couldn't I have
   simply:
     Send= Editor,(LISTNAME)
        or
     Send= user@fqdn,(LISTNAME)
        or even
     Send= (LISTNAME)  ?

   I understand that in the former case a non-member's message will get
   forwarded to the 1st-listed editor, while in the 2nd case(s) (if they
   works) the sender will simply get a rejection message and the mail
   will not be forwarded to anyone "in charge." But in some cases the
   latter behaviour may be the one I want. Can I do this, and will all
   three variations I've shown work?

BTW, I'm still on 1.8a.
