Does anybody know what's up with addresses that include the following:

        ::MRGATE::

We get lots and lots of errors, from lots and lots of different places,
whose addresses all include ::MRGATE:: in their from/reply to address.

When set to nomail, people at these nodes frequently write to ask why.
When I reply (using reply mode), the messages come back to me "no such
host".

Sometimes, however, those same subscribers send messages that do not
include the ::MRGATE:: and then there is no problem with the messages
or the replies. At those times, too, our list messages get through OK.

Does anyone else have this problem? I am sure that it is THEIR local problem
but what can I tell the postmasters (who invariably insist that the problem is
at our end)?

Peace,
