        Hello Ladies and Gents,

My current setup is as follows:

                Windows 2000 server
                Listserv v1.8d
Exchange 5.5 front end (mailer instead of LSMTP)

Here is the problem. When there is a service interruption, such as DNS
stops(which causes Exchange to stop sending mail) or our ISP disconnects..
ect, mail from the list is obvious affected and cut off. The real problem
comes in when service is restored, though. Messages that have already been
disseminated to the list will start sending to all of the list users. It
seems that the longer it is offline, the more messages (and older... usually
no more than a day or 2) are sent out. I cannot find where they are being
stored at either... neither Exchange nor listserv shows these messages until
the service is reconnected....

Any suggestions? I have pretty much come to the point where I am about to
give up and take it for granted that it is going to do this every time
service is interrupted. This is driving what little sanity I have away...
=-)

Thanks in advance...
