This line was inserted in the full  headers because, at that time, it was
necessary for  the usenet gateway software  to do its job  properly. With
1.8a (or older), you can tell LISTSERV what to put in this field, but you
can't remove it, unfortunately. With the next version you will be able to
add
 
* Newgroups= None
 
and it will not generate this field.
