Even though you deleted the subscriber, the system sending you the non
delivery report (system trying to send to non existent system) may keep
trying for anywhere from 1 to 10 days.

This is a pain but about all you can do is write to the system that last
received the message and ask its postmaster to please flush mail from
your list destined for the problem address from his mail queue.

I guess there is a command to do this but am not a postmaster so do not
know for sure.

I find my own list, blind-l seems to have some subscribers which are
redistirbution lists and sometimes subscribers think they are signed
onto the list directly but aren't.

The rredistribution lists are not peers, just normal subscribers of my
list.

Generally I find it takes about a week from when I delete someone until
the errors about mail being undeliverable to them end and by that time
the user is writing to the list to ask why they aren't receiving mail.

Sure keeps life interesting.
