Well, as a Dutch listowner I ought to know something about tolerance. The
way my country is getting headlines concerning drug tolerance and lately
even childporn tolerance is not doing a great job for my chauvinism.
My domain kun.nl could be seen as an American .EDU domain, yet I am
webmaster for a certain company and in another mailer I have a .sig
containing that URL. I usually write a .sig so I don't have to write it
every time I write a mail, I write it once, and it gets appended to the end
of every mail. Great invention.
What I mean is when I write a mail I am not consciously sending that .sig.
If I'd send to your list I'd be abusing in your eyes, you'd warn me, I'd
apologise, a month later the same would happen. You will not change that on
your own.

Unless a person writes something very interesting on my list I don't bother
to check their URL in their .sig, and if it's a FOR FREE SOFTWARE CHECK
http://... it gets ignored completely.

Well if your action would be the action of an academic list owner in
general, I'd rather not be associated with that group.

Grab a beer and relax for a couple of days, works for me.

And no, Dutch DON'T tolerate child porn ANYWHERE.

Note: my personal Hfl 0,02. I am not representing European listowners or
Dutch ppl in any way.
