What would be really great is if there were a mechanism where a
listowner (or the subscriber) could query when his/her
subscription was set to NOMAIL. At one time we could check when
the last change was made to a subscription but I haven't been
able to find anything since that was changed that would give this
information. (The host of my list is running 1.8b.) If I missed
something I'm sure one of the worthies on this list will speak
up.
