A local list here at Ohio State, has Validate= All commands.
 
Yet a subscriber was able to unsubscribe from the list without
first notification of the list owner, as evident by the notification
that the list owner received.
 
Unfortunately I was out on vacation and by the time I came back, the log
was purged.
 
How could a user unsubscribe when the list has Validate= All commands
set?
