The purpose of the list is that all 200 members are all contributing to a
single fictional storyline.  The formatting requirements are fairly
straight forward and there is none of that "put this character in this
column" stuff.  In the end, all of the postings are stuck together to give
us a single epic storyline.  It actually does work out very well, and the
problem formatters make up less than 5% of the posters.
