By which Rich means that a sigle quote, 'COX-2', is case insensitive so
it will hit on cox-2 as well as COX-2, while a double quote, "COX-2"
makes the search case sensitieve so COX must be uppercase to get a hit.

However, if there is such a thing as NCOX-2 "COX-2" will hit on it, so if
you don't want that you need a space: " COX-2".  Or, if there is such a
thing a COX-21 and you don't want that, you need a space: "COX-21 ".
If, in addition to COX-2 there are also NCOX-2 and COX-21 and you want only
COX-2 put a space at either end: " COX-2 ".
