Diane,  This is for when you have some free time re welcome letter
 
My FILELIST for BYZANS-L includes only archives.  Do I just create a
letter, file it as WELCOME and LSVPUT it to BYZANS-L?  Do I need
a special FILEID for this?  Will it then automatically be sent out
to new subscribers?  Same thing for FAREWELLs?  Do I deal with
MAILFORMs at all??
 
Also, what is address of server for  LSTOWN-L@SEARN?
