That's more than there is to it.  I've never used the PUT command at all.
The putting just mysteriously happens all by itself.  Get the headers;
edit them (including editing out the mail headers that came with the file,
of course); fill in the password; and mail it all back.  You'll then get
a reply saying that the headers have been successfully replaced.
