Since LISTSERV(R) does not allow you to have direct access to read/write
files on the host, you delete a file by PUTting a new file of the same
name, but which is empty.
 
e.g.   PUT net-lawyers mailtpl PW=?????
       (1 line only, nothing else)
 
On the other hand, you should always have defined at least a customized
INFO section that describes your list's purpose in your listname.mailtpl
so all you have to do is eliminate the SIGNON(s) section of your template
file, leave only the >>> INFO  section when you PUT it back.
