Oddly enough, I was just about to post a similar message. I'm
having trouble converting an Easylink address to an Internet
address. Someone asked me to add her Easylink address (an eight-
digit number beginning with 62) to my newsletter list. She was
told by Easylink's customer service department that although she
could not send a message directly to the listserv, the system
administrator could add her address. I called Easylink's customer
service number (now part of ATT) and talked to someone who
suggested I call the Internet customer service number. She
eventually told me to convert the Easylink number to an Internet
number by adding @attmail.com to the address. My "add" message was
immediately bounced back to the listserv, and the message I sent
directly to her address was returned with the following:
