This answer works fine for subscribers using RiceMail or other
flexible mail programs. But it doesn't solve the problem for people
on Martin's list who DON'T use such mail programs (e.g., the mailer on
my VAX/VMS system will ONLY set up an automatic reply to the FROM
line). A better solution, if Martin has access to RiceMail, is for
him to post the message and add a REPLY-TO line with his address (or
another subscriber's, if responses should go to that subscriber).
This can easily be done in RiceMail simply by typing "Replyto" and the
address at the command arrow. I do this (by sending the message from
an IBM account that uses RiceMail) whenever I want to increase the
possibility that my subscribers will reply to me privately. Even my
semi-brain-dead VAX/VMS mailer will respect Reply-To lines.
