Hello,
we are a content provider here in Brazil using Lsoft products.
besides all the services we do, we also give to our users the possibility
for them to create and manage their own list group for free, kind of like
Egroups
but a lot simpler.

the thing is: for the past couple fo months, we noticed a great increase of
traffic
and a bunch of new lists being created.

so today, we have 30 thousand lists with an average of 15 people per list.
our email traffic gets to millions of emails per month.
we have enough bandwidth, but we do not know how to "server load balance"
this traffic.

Do you out there have any suggestion on how we could load balance these
lists ?

for example, today, everything runs on a dual pentium (listserv and lsmtp)
with NT4.0 512RAM

but pretty soon, we feel we´re gonna have to split the lists in 2, 3 ,4 n
servers ?

how could we do that and still use the same domain. So no matter how many
server I have,
all the emails would be like : [log in to unmask] ??

have you build an architecture that can hold many servers for mailing list ?
Lsoft support told us to do peering, but there is no a lot of documentation
on it.

we are lost !

Please, share some light on this.. our little box is about to explode !

tks,
flavio ortolano
