I do not think it unreasonable that when a new list is setup,
that the LISTSERV-maintainer assist the new owner in making
choices, based both on the owner's need and the maintainer's
experience.  E.g., HOW the list title that appears at the top of
the list definition and/or definition keywords might affect the
ability of some e-mail systems to REPLY to list posting viz
splitting of the FROM: field onto multiple header lines.
 
Unless syntax has changed in 1.8c,
 
* SUBSCRIPTION= OPEN,CONFIRM(4)
 
is invalid.  Maybe what you meant:
 
* SUBSCRIPTION= OPEN,CONFIRM
* CONFIRM-DELAY= 96 H
