I have my MUA set to show items in arrival order.  Here is what those 3
look like:

} So, depending upon availability and load, is it possible that different hosts were involved and all that that implies?

Anything is possible.  Those 3 addresses (probably) cover the several
panix mail servers.  Looking at the headers, each of the 3 were handled
by a different mail server.  The recieved times differ by seconds only.
