20,000 lines? I suppose I can imagine a situation where a
message that size -- graphics, I imagine -- might be appropriate
to a listserv, but it's pretty difficult. Pete Weiss suggests
alternatives, and so would I (put it on a Web site): both
because messages that long have consequences for lists and
archives, and because a size limit that high is likely to allow
pretty well anything, including viruses, onto the list.
