the newsgroup bit.listserv.mla-l has basically been highjacked.
it was supposed to be a gateway from the listserv list MLA-L.
i no longer have the the gateway subscribed and would rather
that bit.listserv.mla-l be deleted entirely. it's inundated with
spam. how can bit.listserv.mla-l be removed from newsgroups?
there doesn't seem to be an "owner." it has a life of its own?
