More details are required: what list at what site? which site(s) are not
receiving? Are they in DIGEST mode and can't handle the size of the digest?

Some mail systems are not fully compliant with SMTP protocols, especially
the ones that LISTSERV(R) employs e.g., EHLO.  Distributions often make use
of that, whereas command responses may not.  Are there any network outages
due to backhoes, inclement weather?
