No, since a three-way handshake (Open,CONFIRM) aka double opt-in is
required on my lists. Nevertheless we have had problems of malware
sending to -REQUEST addresses from phony accounts, and having the
automated response then bounce.
Of course this was a problem BEFORE malware.
That's why we have out lists with
ATTACHMENTS= NO
LANGUAGE= NOHTML
SIZELIM= 250 (whatever)
Now that's not to say that this is bullet-proof, but so far, it has
really helped.
