To set the NORENEW flag, it's just SET <listname> NORENEW for <email
address>. If you want to set this for all current subscribers to a list,
you can use SET <listname> NORENEW FOR *. You can set the
Default-Options= NORENEW to set the flag for future subscribers. It's
easier to shut off the auto-delete feature by setting Auto-Delete=No in
the list header, since that will have a similar effect.

A few questions and a comment. What is the syntax for setting
"norenew"
(for example) for all current subscribers; along related lines, how do
you put that default status in place for all future subscribers as
well?
