So, two in one day.

I received an email today from someone who is repeatedly receiving
subscription command  confirmation requests (once per day, sometimes two
or three simultaneously). This person is not currently subscribed to any
of our lists; furthermore the list he is getting the requests for is
actually a retired, archive-only list!

I asked him if there was any chance that someone might be trying to
subscribe him in order to annoy him, but I also thought I'd ask this
list while I was waiting for his reply, to see if any of you had come
across such a thing before.
