"Echoing" Jilla Langford, I had the same experience with a command to
[log in to unmask] The command "GET MAP01 FILE F=MAIL" netted
the following return:
> GET MAP01 FILE F=3DMAIL
Invalid file format specification - valid choices are: Netdata, Diskdump,
Carddump, Punch, Mail, VMSdump, LPunch, UUencode, XXencode, MIME/text and
MIME/Appl (minimum abbreviations shown in upper case).
Help will be appreciated.

I tested and Listserv has suddenly started adding "3D" to the echo command.
If I send:
Echo=No
It changes it to:
Echo=3DNo
