I have had this same problem, and in fact, one subscriber had been
autoremoved. I have contacted the folks at this site, but no responce.

No,, not unless you have the auto-unsubscribe set, and if you do, when
these subscriber's hit their limit, they will be removed. May I suggest
writtin to the mail admin at the site in question, and let them know about
it. Maybe if they get enough mail about it, they will care.
