Consider "daily-threshold" to relate to your subscribers'
threshold of "pain."  Relate it to your host site's
ability to deliver service to all its constituents.  Finally,
relate it to your own pain/love of being a list-owner and
having to deal with bounces and loops.
 
These are obviously (mostly) subjective.
