Your mail system doesn't work and  you want LISTSERV to (1) automatically
detect  the  breakage  in  your   mail  system,  (2)  automatically  save
everything it might possibly have sent to  you to a disk file so that (3)
when your mail system is fixed,  you can send the special HEYBYTHEYWAYBUD
MYMAILSYSTEMNOWWORKS command and  get a copy of all  the stored messages?
Well, if LISTSERV could  do that it would be sold as  the magic "cure all
e-mail ailments" ointment  and the market would be so  huge that it might
outsell PC mail software :-)
