Because LISTSERV@UVVM is the "backbone" server nearest to the Victoria Freenet,
UVVM has been collecting *thousands* of pieces of "undeliverable" E-mail.
 
It's recommended that list-owners use the command:
 
   QUIET SET <listname> NOMAIL FOR [log in to unmask]
 
for all your FreeNet subscribers.

The Victoria Free-Net is down due to a disk problem.  Corrective actions
are being taken (it's getting fixed).
It may be three days or more before the system is restored.
