I do the same. I also update the name field for subscribers who tacked
on "digest" after their name when they subscribed.

We also get our share of people who see instructions for subscribing to
our list on a Web site and follow the directions exactly--which means we
then get a subscription for Firstname Lastname. (We do go on to explain in
the next line of the directions that Firstname Lastname should be replaced
by the subscriber's actual name, but some of them apparently get impatient
and don't read that far!)
