I said no to archives in the test account - but yes in the new account.
Reverting to no archives has solved the problem...

Please forward one message to us from what you DID receive from the list
with all RECEIVED line headers.

Certainly in Eudora, which I'm using, I can compose an HTML msg yet send
it as plain text (which of course doesn't make any sense).

Also, provide the list's definition headers.
