I certainly agree that it's possible -- in fact, almost universal --
to be a whole lot more paranoid about viruses than reality checks
would support.

I don't know about this last, though. I've never been in a situation
where everybody on a list really needed, or wanted, to get the whole
text of a long attachment, and putting it on an FTP or Web site has
worked far better.
