If you send a "Hold listname" command it should return information on
whether or not the list is currently being held.

Is there a way to find out if your list is in "hold" status? My list is
automatically held whenever volume reaches a certain high level. I've
learned that it's easy to free by issuing the "free listname" command. But
if I suspect it's on hold and want to find out, how can I do that without
sending a test message, which I'd rather not do?

Thanks,
Pat
