|this response.  They may need help from their support group to do so.

In the meantime, you should issue the command

SET listname NOMAIL FOR userid@host

followed up by a message to the user and POSTMASTER account indicating the
reason why you are suspending further distributions --

As a list-owner you are unable to accept notifications from subscribers of
each and every posting they receive from the list: not only is it
unnecessary, but it is a waste of human, network, and computer resources.
