Can the character set of the reply to an INDEX notice cause the output to
fail?

The person gets the INDEX listings fine but the "reply" to get the desired
items fails, not even an error message. The addresses match and when she
does it with a cc: to me everything looks just fine, but she never gets
any output of any sort (she's switched to digest as more reliable at
present).

I see nothing wrong with her INDEX reply in any way; I've cut-'n-pasted,
bounced, etc. and it always works, but not for her.

I wouldn't think it would bear, but, she uses the iso-88549-1 set
rather than the us-ascii which I use. Could this be a problem?

She is not the first of our subscribers' to have this problem and
I have yet to figure out what the problem is. She can change her
options at will, everything always looks right and works for me
regardless of how I do it, but it doesn't work for her, though
used to (no known change in mail system nor address).

Any suggestions? Douglas
