One of my lists has started stamping the digest and error messages with a
date one month in advance of the actual date.  Around the same time, users
began complaining of not receiving mail.  Another list is delivering the
mail just fine.  Any ideas what's up?

It's a delivery error message sent to the wrong place (you, as sender
of a message, instead of the list owner).  Send the error message to
the list owner and ask them to remove the bad address from the list.
