Since he's using Netscape Messanger as his mail program first he needs
to create a signature file using a text editor (it should be saved as
text).  Then if he goes into Edit->Preferences then clicks on 'Mail &
Newsgroups' and clicks on 'Identity' he will find a place where he can
enter the path of that signature file.
