There is a list called HEPROC-L via listserv.american.edu that has
multiple topics but they all have generic slugs (see below). The meaning
to each slug [TOPIC] is assigned by the owner on a rotating basis and
publicized before the discussion is to take place. It is up to the
target audience to include / exclude themselves from each ongoing topical
in which they are interested.
* Topics= HEJ,Con1,Con2,Con3,Con4,Con5,Con6,Con7,Con8,Con9
* Default-Topics= HEJ,Other
On a different list, a topic of MISC has been added, and the
default-options= are ALL,-OTHER. The reserved topic OTHER is excluded
from new subscribers and is to be avoided since that is the catch-all
topic for non- or misaddressed TOPICs. If the subscriber can't find an
existing topic, then they are required to use MISC.
