Lists of a sensitive nature should be moderated. On a moderated list, the
moderator can remove any signs of identification from a posting, thus
protecting the anonymity of the author.
 
Still, while we can express our moral opposition to anonymous e-mail,
I suspect that there is very little we can do to stop it, particularly on
open lists.
