Getting files from subcatalogs

I am new to ListServ and have one problem with the syntax of the GET command. 
How can I retrieve a file from a specific catalog?
I have created several sub catalogs for users and some have files that have the same name. When I use the GET fn ft command I am winding up with the wrong file. Is there a parameter to direct the GET command to a specific catalog?
